I would like to apologize to Lupe personally for claiming that mural isn’t top 5 on T&Y. Matter of fact I would like to apologize for showing disrespect to what is quite possibly his best song. And a perfect song.

I’ve been listening to T&Y heavily as of late in celebration of the anniversary. Matter of fact I haven’t touched Wahves all year. And I remembered a post I made on OG Lsxn where I realized his rhyme patterns and schemes were repeating and I mentioned it was crazy that he gave us clues throughout to break the code.

Specifically the line nerd gang Mandelbrot set when we handshake.

And life is not a dictionary, it’s a thesaurus

This fool really gave us the same like 6-7 schemes just in different metaphors throughout the whole track. And a thesaurus shows you all the f***ing synonyms to a word.

And a Mandelbrot set literally looks like

Which goes back to the last few bars of defeating samsara achieves nirvana and brilliance

It ends the cycle of it repeating. I mean the entire time he was making references to Naruto and video games too. And y’all know in games you keep repeating the level until you figure out how to beat the boss. And then in Naruto the young god itachi literally did this repeating s*** on Kabuto. So that he was trapped unable to move or do anything until he “realized his real ness.”

Blur my hands is my least favorite song on the album but I love playing bass along with it, it got a dope ass bass line

As far as the concepts and Sonics are involved it’s objectively top 2 on the album.

It’s not my favorite on there and wouldn’t make my top 5 based on preference.

TRON was on repeat

The basslines throughout the album were quite dope, same for the one on Body Of Work. I think mixing wise it's his best album for sure, can't wait to listen to it through my new headphones
