Fire song only song on the album that feels similar to Solid/Horses in the Stable

It’s weird cause the peaks here aren’t as high as Free TC but the albums is his most consistent

Double R also might be the most underrated track Durk killed it and the beat is crazy and the song is weirdly addictive about getting head in a Rolle

I think the highs reach the same here. I think you guys just wanted another Miracle

Nah, Solid and Horses are much higher than anything on this album

Solid was okay...Horses maybe but Tyrone 2021 is the same

Double R grew on me. At first I though it was pretty generic, but it's pretty catchy to me now

the hook on Double R is soooooo good

Tyrone 2021 isn't a comparable song to Horses, maybe the subject matter but Horses is literally one of the best songs of the last decade

Can't agree with this at all man, those first 8 songs of Free TC are just amazing.

Besides Your Turn I can't see many more of the songs on here being considered as the best of his discography, unfortunately I can see much of this album being forgotten about shortly, and it sort of goes hand in hand with all the sub 3 minute songs and the number of tracks.

Vocally Ty has had many more highlights on previous albums, and this album relies too much on the same sort of drum patterns of the past few years.

If we go through the best bangers + R&B ballads of his previous 3 albums

Free TC had Saved, Blase, Wavy (Deluxe) as bangers + LA, Horses in the Stable, Miracle, Credit, Like A D*** (Deluxe) as ballads

Campaign had Zaddy + R&B, Stealing, No Justice

Beach House 3 had Droptop in the Rain, Lil Favorite + Famous, All the Time, Love U Better

Hurts me to say but the highs of Featuring Ty Dolla $ign aren't touching these imo, with the exception of Ego Death and Your Turn

I remember when I couldn’t sync music onto my iPhone for some reason and Campain was the only album I had on it so that’s all I could listen to

But the consistency though makes this a great album and his best. I don’t feel the need to skip any tracks because there were no highs or lack of standout tracks. Really enjoyable album a feels like a breeze going through it.

Depends if you rate an album that is more consistently good (average) or is less consistent but has better peaks...

When discussing albums I’ll always take the consistency over higher peaks. If I skip less, that’s adds more value with me when comparing albums.

I guess it depends how you consume music, I want my favourite artists to keep making stand out music

When I look back I think of how much enjoyment I got out of songs, not how “consistent” a set of songs were

True, Free TC does have better highs but I never listened to Free TC as a whole as much as I am with Feat right now.

I also appreciate how much shorter Feat. is as well. I keeps my attention better with shorter tracks. It’s just a really good pace.
