New article / interview https://www.vulture.com/2020/10/profile-ty-dolla-sign.html
“The lush, expansive album Ty played me at Electric Lady is not quite the one he’s releasing on October 23, though a handful of holdovers from those sessions made the cut”
“Where last year’s album was a seamless and immersive headphone experience, the new one leans more toward the sleek West Coast soul of Ty’s early releases.”
Bit disappointing to read but I hope he gets to deliver that seamless experience eventually on a future album
How's he gonna drop merch for the singles but not the album

Yeah... Im not getting a good feeling about this album.
I will give him the benefit of the doubt, but this not looking like an album to me.
It looks like it is some generic s***. Im sure there gonna be some great music, but most likely some mid too.
I will be lucky to get a few records I like from this I think. Too bad.
It really looks like it is "featuring Ty Doll Sign" from the tracklist... I hoped it was a statement he made with that title. That people always says he kills the features etc. And that no project of his has really elevated him. I hoped he would therefore come with something with maybe just him and not so many features. Straight up R&B.
This just look like another album to get the streams. Instead of creating something really great. That I think he is capable of making. Especially with his pen. His vocals.
Looks like there will be a vinyl

Damn thats dope, thanks man
Free TC has songs like Wavy, Saved, Blasé, When I See Ya, Bring It Out Of Me. All club songs, and you guys rave about how classic it is. Just because this album won't sound like $ign Language or BH2 in terms of being long drawn out lush string productions does not mean that he didn't peace together something great. Stay open minded

Those songs are exactly why Free TC was CLOSE to being great. They are mid and forgettable.
Horses In Stable and Miracle / Wherever are the great album cuts.

Man....
Tyrone sounds like a better album 😭
“Church taught me everything I know from having a relationship with God to being a performer, playing music in front of people,” he says. (The densely layered vocals and daring chord changes in his songs suggest experience playing Black church music; the shelved album featured vocals from adventurous gospel singer and producer B. Slade.)
I’ve been wanting gospel ty so badly man
