Damn you've missed out on an incredible year and a half run and a significant return to form. I guess it’s like that lol, what R&B you enjoying recently?

Victoria Monet, Tinashe, Yazmin Lacey, Yaya Bey, Alex Isley, Jorja Smith, Cleo Sol, Kali Uchis got my favorite R&B releases this year.
Aside from a handful, lotta the guys been dropping extremely bland/generic and forgettable R&B this year. Shoutout Khamari and Col3trane though. Brent Faiyaz also redeemed himself with Larger Than Life.

I've learned this year that for some bizarre reason Black Americans are really not big on dancehall, soca, afrobeat, reggaeton or amapiano. Mainly down south and out west. Makes me wonder what tf they playing in their clubs out there, s*** sounds terrible.

That’s what’s up, still got Jorja, Tinashe and Cleo on my list to listen to. I think Victoria’s album was just good but need to give it more listens, I added some songs to my playlists. Kali album >>>
If you get a chance check out Mariah, Aamare, Masego, Kelela, Mahalia and D4vd/Chiiild (but the last 2 more alternative)
