When I mean “crazy hip-hop beat” I mean something that’s palatable to the average smuck that listens to hip-hop. A lot of his work even though I like it personally, a lot of hip-hop casuals don’t bang with his sound unless it’s HEAVILY catered like the 2nd half of smuckers.
