tyler way more critically acclaimed and way more popular with the current gen
with critics maybe not with rap listeners
I'm seriously questioning how yall define classics. there are plenty off albums you can declare classic not long after release.
Even if you don't want to include his old music, Flower Boy, Igor, and Call Me If You Get Lost
Regardless of how yall personally feel about them, all 3 are amongst the best reviewed, and best selling hip-hop albums in the last decade. 2 of which are Grammy Award winning albums.
With Tyler also being one of the more relevant nearly 15 Years.
People are obviously gonna be listening to these albums 10+ Years from now lmao.
All of this arbitrary criteria of what is deemed "classic" feels silly when we're discussing several Multi-Platinum, Grammy Winning, Universally Critically Acclaimed albums, that are heavily discussed. Ppl arent gonna just forget about them lol
I'm not reading this man. For what it's worth Call Me If You Get Lost to me hast that staying power. For some Igor does as well, but I'll just let them have it cause I personally didn't care much for it.
Drake got knocked out of the Big 3 and the industry was like damn we need to replace him with another groomer
I just wanna say he's talking about this with Justin Hunte on this video, because i actually watched it
Why are people so confused about what the big 3 WAS? This has to be people that weren’t into rap until atleast SoundCloud era. The big 3 were the ones that brought lyrics back to the mainstream after the ringtone era. Can’t go back and change history. Its not about numbers, it’s not about the fanbase, its not about innovation, it’s not about influence other than the fact that they were actually rapping. The big 3 is over with and it could be a while before we see a class like those that came up together again

Im using your post to respond to that opinion overall. Im not attempting to argue with you specifically
When did this bald dork with t*** become the authority on hip hop or any music?
A lot of these internet rappers are part of the problem too by giving him any attention

Chromakopia is a good album but it's not better then The Off-Season and Cole is still a better rapper than Tyler
Is Tyler bigger? possibly
Idk why its so difficult for crackers to admit Travis and Future are above Tyler lol
True

tyler is just now bigger in a whole new decade. "Big 3" was for 2010s.
I respect Kendrick for saying “fuck the big 3 it’s just big me” and then proving why
im ngl needledrop saying s*** like this solidifies the fact that there is no big 3 anymore
