A flower gets its petal, they pluck it but never use it
It's still potholes in the schools, when does it go?
It's still loopholes that I use, nobody knows

basically tyler’s saying that he’s getting the s*** taxed out of him and it’s f***ing his money up. He’d be okay with paying for taxes if it meant fixing up things and helping people (potholes) but since it’ll go into the pockets of the rich or whatever he’d rather perform tax evasion

Honestly my least favorite part of the entire album. There's way more things that taxes pay for than just potholes and to only see it from that view seems rather ignorant. Taxes are just enough to keep s*** running just as it is and then you're surprised there isn't progress? Dumb as hell if you ask me, especially bragging about using loopholes publicly even if they are legal. I wouldn't want the attention from the IRS
