SegaDreamFlashWolf was definitely an era for sure, CB's rollout didn't feel as calculated as this tbh & I love that album
I just remember loving the outfits, and videos, the way he was talking, and that was the first era i could save up some money and cop some merch, and go to a show
But I f*** w every era, Flower Boy I started hanging out w some suburban kids who Im still friends with now riding around the burbs listening to flower boy, we all worked at an art museum together it was a great experience
then IGOR dropped the day before I graduated, had a HS grad party with all my hometown kids and on god we played IGOR 6-7 times front to back as we got drunk and said our goodbyes. That was the last time I seen some of the kids I used to see every day

Only place I see people talking about it is here and a few random stories on ig, I’m excited lol but people usually very vocal around Tyler release time and I’m not seeing it

Cherry Bomb was crazy just cuz I remember they had ASAP Rocky, Vince Staples and Danny Brown on the tour and those are some of my fave artists.I also remember riding in my whip with the windows down blasting smuckers in the summer.
Wolf was crazy though, I remember Tyler being on adult swim and just being happy for him

Idk if I can really take that mindset tbh, like yeah I’m still hyped but hearing him rap on old beats does almost nothing for me, a Tyler single never left me as empty as Wusyaname, I’m already at the point where I don’t think I’ll ever revisit it and I only watched it like 3 times

he did say we’re not getting an album for a while in spring so this may just be a tape in the end
besides, we get a ton of features and loose tracks every intermission AND he’s consistently dropped full projects every other year for 10 years
