Mature not in the emotional sense because the album obviouslt deals with young love, but mature in the nuance and grace he weaves into every line and syllable on that album. It all feels so poetic as if he bottled up that heartbreak and anger and channeled it through an angelic Enochian sprite with such Earth shattering poignancy that it grips you by the gizzards and induces a spiritual welling up of the soul, before it wrings you out only to send you back in for a second helping, as before you know it the album has already looped and begun a second rotation of its axis

as a huge Ye fan I agree. Ye as an artist is iconic and legendary but tbh there are a handful of people that imo are not only better rappers but can put out just as creative projects as him
