Its a good story but will prob never play it on its own
well
it ties in with the album narrative
u know what a concept album is?
im not one of those "old tyler is the best" mfers but this is a banger
This s*** gone always be hard
Can Wilshire finally end all the “oh he doing the gay gimmick” talks now?
Bi men exist.
Yeah man one of my favs
Top 5 Kendrick
Speaking of which this album has a similar feel to DAMN. imo, it kind of has a victory lap vibe but also with some strong storytelling songs. The production is also modern, yet a culmination of Tyler's past works, like how a lot of DAMN. beats are like if GKMC was made in 2017
But Duckworth is an exception, lol most of his other story telling songs do the same because its easier to tell a fluent story over one beat. And the song not having a hook doesn’t really add to ur point of the song needing a beat switch
Kendrick has hella story telling songs, so he probably is able to do it at a higher level than tyler which is why he was able to do something like Duckworth and pull it off
Yea its really hard to pull off respect him for trying still the least enjoyable track imo
Album sound super quality but it's not for me so far

I felt like DAMN. had a strong concept that got overlooked a bit tbh, idk if id call DAMN. a victory lap, its a pretty depressing and introspective album tbh but this one is definitely T talking his s***

Man I really hope this early 10s generation of rappers (Tyler, Kenny, future, thug, Drake, earl, Rocky, Sean, Cole, Gibbs, Q, Cudi, Bas, Joey, Trav, ect) keeps blessing us in the 20s as well
Album sound super quality but it's not for me so far
Props 4 keeping it real

True. Those artists I mentioned were lucky to come up in the era where albums meant everything.
