its not like hes a carbon copy if he was just imitating he would have been put in a certain 'box'. its good that the inspiration isn't so transparent and he has his own aesthetic that can can stadn on its own as easily as OF's and ASAP. thats how influence is supposed to work, really
its just lke how ye said michael jackson was his biggest influence for 808s (I think), you wouldn't be able to tell without him disclosing it
