If people didn't believe before that he was big name, this is the album that will solidify it for them
It's just hilarious how some Future stans will get on here and downplay how huge Tyler and say he's not Big 3 material just for this to happen
Quite surprised by the positive reception? It ain't bad or anything but for me this is the weakest and least inspired Tyler album since CB.

It's the one that had me almost crying, because s*** is heavy for young black boys like me growing up without their biological (whether that's through divorce or the father just simply abandoning the relationship and the family together.)
Thank God tho me and my father have a relationship now, but that s*** is truly a dramatic effect on a child.

I disagree on it being the least inspired strongly
At the very least its more inspired than call me if you get lost
Like Him is one of the most emotionally potent things he’s ever made, it really was a heavy moment with his moms confession and his entire relationship with his dad coming into question
Take Your Mask Off, Tomorrow,Hey Jane were all insanely personal and this is more my opinion but Like Him Judge Judgy & Tomorrow have some really had some crazy production that were different for him, well Like Him was classic tyler production actually but he took it far

I had my father and still have my father, but as a song…man. I heard a lot of Mr. Morale inspiration in that track.

Like Him is a great track, sure. But Tomorrow? Judge Judy? Darling, I?
Feels like I'm listening to a Brockhampton album

Bro this song is so real, my dad is a great dad but was in the military and lived in a different state the first 9 years of my life I honestly barely knew him as a child and it took us about 2 years to really build our relationship strongly but I adore him now, he’s the person i look up to the most
but my mom was 19 when i was born and i think about now that im older like man she was a baby, she really had to do it on her own too and i used to be so critical of my mom at times about why life was hard for us, and i feel so bad for it now i wish there was a way i could alleviate any guilt she has so that “i could never judge you, cause everything turned out fine” hits so hard
Really cried listening to the song, my favorite song hes ever made

It’s his most personal and relatable project yet imo

I actually can see what you mean about Tomorrow sounding like a Brockhampton song, but I feel like the outro is a level above their production quality
I get how you listen to it and hear Brockhampton but instrumentally I listen to it and hear his take on this

which is totally fair if you don’t hear it but i just appreciate him trying to reference s*** like this
Judge Judy I don’t think sounds like Brockhampton, its really nice bosa nova
That’s my personal opinion on why I enjoy those tracks production
like him got me looking at pictures of me and my dad
S*** got me grateful that my dad was in my life even though we dont talk anymore

Cheers, glad you're enjoying it. Will continue to listen and hope it clicks at some point.
My main issue is that the album is just too poppy for my taste. Thematically and stylistically it's all over the place too. Highs are high (Like Him, Thought I Was Dead) tho
Also - not sure why - but Balloon just pisses me off. Really despise that beat and Doechii verse.

Yes its very poppy, I like that type of stuff though.
Not too big on Balloon yet either
