Really dumb metric to judge art but do you

    Oh pleaseeeeeee Brodie šŸ™„

Just because YOU love this album and think itā€™s the s*** doesnā€™t mean me or anyone else has to either. I didnā€™t even say it was bad. I just want him to do something different in the future sound wise because I feel like heā€™s starting to become a bit one note. Why would I want to put him in a box when I know heā€™s capable of so much?

But if youā€™re happy with the same type of chords and songs for the next 10 albums, thatā€™s great. But to me, he sounds stagnant on this one.

Stevie Wonder comparison silly as well
my guy. My criticism is not comparable to a repeated use of the same instrument.

You can dislike the album all you want, the criticism makes no sense is my point bro, the whole ā€˜this song couldā€™ve been on a previous albumā€™ s*** is dumb asf (not to mention the specific examples themselves were trash) because it applies to damn near every artist ever and that includes the greats. And of course you pointed out the Rhodes joke and not the other point since you knew it was a 1:1 comparison of your argument

Youā€™re overlooking the main point because you got so heated by me comparing a couple songs that sound like something heā€™s already done. Yes, you could do that with damn near every artist save for a few who constantly reinvent themselves, but weā€™re talking about Tyler and guess what? He sounds stagnant to me MUSICALLY on here.

Try to point out what is unique to Chromakopia aside from the content. I can with his previous 4, I struggle to specifically with this one.

I think content wise itā€™s great that heā€™s really maturing in his writing and thatā€™s been highlighted. Musically? I would like to see some sort of reinvention next time.

Tyler's verse on Balloon is a perfect lil verse.

This just a decent album for me. Mixed bag. I really don't like Sticky. Tracks like Judge Judy and Like Him pretty boring to me. But then you have Noid. You have I Killed You. Overall don't see myself going back to this like that. One of the coolest rollouts of the year though, his presentation is always on point.

Love the build up on Like Him
