It's crazy he's talking about albums dropping on Tuesdays again, and that's something underground and indie artists never stopped doing. Some even dropping on Sunday nights.

Oftentimes their mentality is "Survive by avoiding the major release days like Thursday and Friday". I'm sure that some also share similar sentiments to Tyler. But I do feel it's a raw deal for those indie and underground acts to pretty much get their day jacked by a huge mainstream artist. Even if that artist does have the right intentions. These major artists will always get listeners whenever they drop. The artists trying to get their recognition however they can would be kinda screwed if major artists started dropping whenever.

It'll be interesting to see if this changes anything in regards to release dates. Probably won't, but the reason Tyler stated to return to Tuesday as the common release day is pretty valid and I like it. Just gotta be aware of the indie and underground scenes.

Goblin has some great songs but nobody will acknowledge it bc everybody just calls all his old music trash automatically
