Even if you believe he didn't believe any of that s*** when he was a kid and it was all insecurity/jokes or whatever - you can see why people think he switched up Like if you're saying that he was trolling or whatever as a kid, you have to see where the narrative comes from

When people say this, I can clearly see what they mean. Taste in art, thoughts on issues black people face, thoughts on gay people etc. If this nigga went on record multiple times saying certain things, then years later he says the opposite - even if you think it's due to insecurity/trolling or whatever back then, you should be able to see why people think "He changed"

I just don't get people acting confused by others believing that he's not the same but then they'll say "Oh that? Nah, he didn't actually mean that" whenever these contradictions are brought up Like he's the one who said it himself, of course people believed him

I get people being surprised but I think a lot of the things were always there. I think with Kanye for example his stance is basically he didnt like 808s & MBDTF and it seems like he still doesn’t its not like hes gone back and praised those, but he always mentioned Kanye as one of his inspirations and someone he wants to compete with over other rappers & I def dont think he hates Michael Jackson he said Off The Wall is one of his all time favorite albums.
