It’s sorta hard to put it into words but his idol is Pharrell right? What made Pharrell so special imo is that he understood music in general but had respect and love for Hip Hop/Urban culture the most out of all music,so he worked with everyone from Babyface to Madonna to Slim Thug. Pharrell had flavor,he knew how to take almost any genre and add his taste without losing what makes that genre/artist them.

Idk,I think Tyler is cool sometimes,he’s always been different but for his idol to be Pharrell,he never had flavor imo. He created his own side of the tracks(even dudes like Drake commended him on that s*** way back)and then it just fell apart. He’s been trying to carve his own lane in Hip Hop since,I don’t think he wants be remembered as the weird OF guy to most people tbh.
