Negative: movies about d*** trafficking, cartels, etc

War movies and Romantic movies just not my thing

Positive bias with Horror probably, even the s***ty ones have some entertainment value

funnily enough, "right wing bait" films.

Any renaissance era s*** is not for me

cant stand films like marriage story or over the top acting in general

Anything where the score is overbearing with a montage or music video vibe usually hits. Refn, Suspiria, Predator, Risky Business etc

This s*** on surround sound is booming

Will always have a positive bias towards slower films.

Any s*** about US Marines in the Middle East is the biggest skip for me

Also don’t like Coming of Age movies

And the gangster film (or nowadays d*** cartel) genre has been lucky to have had some of the best directors oat making them, cus the genre it self is very boring.

Vikings sort of bore me

Wes Andersons insufferable always the same yip yippitey doo doopity ass way of making movies is my personal choice of flavor I stay away from

positives: movies that feel/look more real than fake ex: kids, sean baker, street casting etc

I’m a sucker for historical period pieces

Movies that are all visual no plot don’t do much for me

Baumbach/Gerwig sub genre

Pure action (fast 45, john wick etc), horror and whatever genre s*** like lady bird and birdman fall under

Realized that I like shows and movies about depression, mental health, etc

basically if there’s multiple night time shootouts in a movie there’s an 80% chance I‘ll rock with it

if it's french i'll always have a positive bias for it
