wasting all these trademarked properties to make a single player on rails narrative that people play once buy once or just play via streaming wont get the revenue they need in most cases to make it

They want it out before christmas and thanksgiving to get sales of "OH MOM I WANT THE STAR WARS GAME" and they know with most of their target market thats all they need to be rather than handling it to developers that will actually take some level of risk with the game to be fun while also staying in a logical scope

not even i actually enjoy all the far cry games except 6 (one of the worst games ever) it was legit just a boring boring boring boring nothing burger game
