I think the narrative is being pushed by news media more because of everything happening with this recently.

Like The Age of Disclosure documentary, Obama’s alien comments which were taken out of context but ran with by media anyway and Trump’s response to it on the plane and Truth Social.

It’s been building up so they’re starting to connect the dots more and make all these connections to it and some of it will probably be coincidence or bs.

The missing General at least does have some connection to UAP though and it’s being reported by sources that claim the Pentagon and CIA is trying to resist Trump’s directive to release the classified information.
