It means that you being obtuse about the fact most likely a majority of people in america that are queer are also religious, diminishes the argument that it should remain entirely separate from the culture doesn't work in the first place. religion = bad is an archaic take in this conversation and literally used as a footstool to try and dismantle other countries who are religious. which is just a branch off of western imperialism, being gay does not make it less that.
