I honestly dislike when Kanye collabs with rappers other than maybe Jay, leaves less time for Kanye to rap. Prefer when he collabs with singers like Bon Iver and stuff, then we get a song like hold my liquor where Bon Iver and Chief Keef do some great vocal work and there’s a lot of space for Kanye to rap. I think that’s why I like Yeezus the best, there’s lots of great features but very few other rappers (I want to say King Louie and Assassin are the only guests on the album with proper verses) doing a verse and it feels like a grand, unified vision with a singular voice leading the show.

I can’t argue w that, and MBDTF and Pablo have an absurd amount of guest verses and are considered some of his best works so I doubt my opinion is held by his fans generally. Still miss him rapping with some left field vocal contributions from more unorthodox guests.
