only issue i have with uk rap music in general right now is the lack of education by the artists themselves and their teams on how to do s***. they rely way too much on the big promo channels like grm daily, mixtape madness, press playmedia etc. it's one thing to get on those channels, but putting out their videos then not dropping the track on spotify/apple for days is such just a lack of common sense when you're trying to grow your fanbase. i wish some of these artists had better teams behind them cause there's a lot of special artists out there right now not capitalizing

I agree. Linkup/grm/mixtape madness is a good way to start out exposing your music as an upcoming artist. But some of these guys almost exclusively rely on the platforms instead of pushing their own brands. Once you reach a certain point of establishment and popularity in your career you shouldn't really need to post your music on those channels anymore. Established guys like Tion Wayne, Digga D, Young T & Bugsey, NSG still posting on GRM need to branch out and create their own teams to promote their music more.

D Block Europe is especially the biggest example as they should've started posting on their own YouTube channel around 2 years ago when they started making serious waves instead of waiting until the past few months to do it. Better late than never i suppose.
