keep glazing bro, none of the songs kendrick dropped stand next to the classic diss records
its probably a minorrrrr is cemented alrrady
especially if more stuff comes out its inevitable
they're even gonna run with the mj feature
If there’s one part I liked about the heart 6 is that Drake really did piss Kendrick off enough to make some of the most interesting music I’ve heard from him. There’s an ugliness to it. He’s completely lost his cool. You can reaaally feel like there’s some jealousy and hatred here. He cannot believe that such a square made it so far in the music industry on autopilot. He’s disgusted with him and likely frustrated with his own personal life if what Drake is saying is to believed. Also probably a little frustrated that Mr Morale, a project everyone I talk to music with, agrees is an incredibly beautiful album, did not reach the same level of success as his others. It’s an album that helped me deal with my own s*** and to see him go from “I hope you find some peace of mind in this life time” to literally choosing violence is baffling, extremely interesting, sort of disappointing/disturbing, but also somehow stupidly exciting.
dont think mr morale is killing that part of you to find peace as much as its accepting these resentments are all apart of the human experience and are equally apart of our lives as much as the highs.
its only thru sitting down with ourselves and accepting the pain and damage we've done to ourselves and others that we can br at peace
going back and forth with other biggest rap in the generation isnt contradictory, imo its just the nature of the game, art of war, blah blah u get the picture
You don’t see any ego in this at all? Kendrick wouldn’t have done this if he had the same numbers as Drake in my opinion. Kendrick is stupidly competitive (see Father Time, Like That, Control etc). Dude wants to WIN.
I’m not even saying I care about him winning but it’s hard to not read between the lines and see that he feels like he is losing when it comes to the numbers.
It could just be me but I know Kendrick cares about being on top and seeing a cornball beating him numbers wise for so long has to weigh on his soul. That same cornball mentioning his family and trying to ruin his reputation just pushed him way over the line we expected him to stay behind.
i hate the term "the culture™️" but the culture actually needed meet the grahams, s*** is the godfather part 2 of story of adidon
He is not your savior
yea i feel like he missed a crucial point of the record
not shocking at all it was aways gonna end on a wimper, im surprised they even let the drizzler release heart pt 6, there are so many bad lines in there
theres great lines its just that the delivery feels weak and ego sounds oddly deflated for someone whose had genre defining mic presence before he even had the acceptance
"Keep it hip hop or we will release evidence of your crimes" this is f***ing horrendous
Lmaooooooooooooo more surprised this lowkey confirmed kendrick wasnt capping

Kendrick would not be nearly as interesting of a figure, artist and personality if he wasn't an old school Gemini full of contradictions. Bruh is highly inconsistent and he's told us that repeatedly. A lot of people didn't think he could be as committed, meanspirited, cruel and downright funny as he has been throughout this beef.
That's part of what made these songs so compelling though. In the process of trying to unmask Drake, Kendrick revealed some ugly and very human parts of his own personality. Meet the Grahams is straight up nasty and even I, someone who has been listening since S80, didn't see that one coming.
I guess, if anyone is going to hate Drake, or at least what he represents, it ought to be Kendrick. To him, he's a symbol of privilege and artificiality that he's hell-bent on knocking over, and he did that. He's not coming out of this beef clean though, and I'm guessing he knows it. That's how rap beef goes.
Damn umg really stepped in?
Wonder what that phone call was like
STOP

i interpreted mr morale, especially a lot of what he said on the second diss as now that hes healed from the bad person he was, hes gonna get his lick on anyone who thinks they do the same s*** without catching the flak and keep going... im fried so idk if im making sense
i hate the term "the culture™️" but the culture actually needed meet the grahams, s*** is the godfather part 2 of story of adidon
such a good way to put it
such a good way to put it
i slept on it when it first came out its actually so disrespectful idk how anyone can hear the heart part 6 and feel like its an appropriate response its honestly really filthy how he did this nigga

that last part is what he touched on in the first verse of 616
He knew what drake had on him was gonna taint him but hes gonna pray for his family and go to war. When i heard that track i was p sure drake was gonna say some crazy things on his song. He dead ass sounded like was about to sacrifice himself on that song i knew it was gona get ugly
Pants ripping and that B sharp pun were absolutely not it I'm sorry
as were the john stockton, 69 god & pusha t bars
as were the john stockton, 69 god & pusha t bars
John Stockton and Carl Malone were a dynamic duo (With Stockton passing the ball to him) and Malone got a 13 year old pregnant. That's the entire point of the bar... I am not even going to address the 69 god or pusha lines because you didn't do your research.

once they reveal the daughter it's gonna be cemented as the best diss track of all time.
Why does it matter? It’s a banger & not a full blown diss. Drake mad af that a song he isn’t part of is doing great & being played everywhere
It matters because he's calling him a pedophile but i doubt he sends a cease and desist
Damn umg really stepped in?
Wonder what that phone call was like
Yeah, and PGL has evidence, which I assume is being taken right to the authorities as we speak.. I mean, that would be the right thing to do.. Right..
he did all that comparing himself to mj over the last few years just to diss him to get at kendrick
encapsulates his career and behavior
This sounds like fake news, Drake sounded done, if he really had smoke he'd have more to put out either in music or receipts. Kendrick should imo have the last say and print the evidence and end it. Probably won't happen maybe they both just lying, its just how can you come back from being labelled a pedo. Drake going on vacation is limp as f***, he sounded eager to battle now he sounds tired and lethargic. Kendrick is silent and without evidence and has a victory lap of a song that is pushing numbers. We all know Drake is a brand at this point and its possible that UMG stepped in or whatever but they could have done It eariler and if Drake was so cocky going into this why did he even participate if he had any rumors or skeletons in the closet. Family matters is a better hit than most of what Kendrick put out but Kendrick just made it sinister and a hit piece on drake which in these kind of things is the goal, ultimately. Drakes reply to this with the heart 6 was weak and again kendrick should end it and be done with it. Having it hang for him or drake to send subs in an album is wack. Thanks for reading
