I’ve found that once a rule is set, they get scared to break it, especially when it’s something they don’t feel like they fully understand like social media cause it can be intimidating to a kid who’s not used to it

So I tried to explain to them just save to camera roll, but that s*** wasn’t processing so they moved me out the way before I could even explain. They are happy with just recording it, watching it for like 5 minutes, deleting and doing it again “better” or finding a different one to try

Also I can’t really stop what the kids at school are doing or showing, so they’ll ask me “can you do this dance?” And my ass won’t know wtf but it’ll be some s*** that one of their friends who got access to the internet loves (like this lame ass Fortnite dance that’s literally just an older dude fishing on his easily manipulated audience of kids, but that’s a difference conversation, but the dance is the simplest dumbest s*** ever, but he’s a big streamer and “cool” so the dance is automatically awesome to these kids lol)

Anyways, I found it on YouTube, did it for them, they laughed, copied me, and now probably know how to do it with their friends which is okay. Aside from that, it’s just reinforcing good things that they take interest in as much as possible.
