Why did this happen? Executives are f***ing stupid and don’t give a s*** about the art and only money. They can tell Pusha T not to do something if they think the risk-benefit is not in their favor, and if he doesn’t listen, they can drop him because he’s not one of the biggest stars in the industry.

Do you think they can say the same thing to Kendrick? Do you think Kendrick has more bargaining power and freedom? Obviously. Do you think UMG would just drop Kendrick? Playing NLU at the Super Bowl as added to the lawsuit, but GNX went back to the top of the charts after the Super Bowl, so maybe it as worth the risk because of how much they profited from it.
