Starker said “I own my masters like Django” on this new YL. Stop it.
Really enjoyed this YL joint. Bought with the quickness

Ecuadorian, I think?
Yeah this new YL is my favourite drop of his in a while. Always at his best over smooth, soulful beats.
Starker just straight lifting a line from ELUCID though
Also, new BA PACE

Man what?? This dude says "nigga" too comfortably to be anything other than Puerto Rican or Dominican.
That's a whole other convo lol
Totally feel you, and even then it can be kinda weird. I think in his case it’s more of a New York City thing (dated example but like how all of the kids in Kids say it no matter what race they are), and it’s not like there weren’t slaves in South America, but it is odd.

Mad excited for this Pace, relieved he’s out of that trap phase
Which line?
'You need permission to have an issue with me'
ELUCID's first line on Haram. Cant imagine its coincidental

I think this might be a common saying? Feel like I’ve seen it elsewhere.

69 is white as s*** he saids nigga
From what I heard he's Puerto Rican, Mexican and informant
I missed a lot of special moments in the Culture. I missed most of Kobe and LeBron prime. Missed the Roc-a-fella days with Ye and State Property. Missed the beginning of the sneakerhead in the early 2000s...
But I am sure glad I have not missed this era right here! I take a lot of pride in that

One of the biggest issues that has kept me from getting into his music. He has a smooth flow and delivery but he says nigga like he gets a cash bonus every time he works it into a rhyme.

Not really taking a position, but in NY, it almost seems as much a sociolinguistic/geographical factor as it does a racial one

Understandable but even other mc's from New York that are black/latino that are adjacent to him musically don't say it as much as him. Two people he's collaborated with come to mind Wiki and Chuck Strangers.
