    Tha Carter II

Is "Tha Carter II" really underrated though? I don't think it is. I think most Lil Wayne fans acknowledge that it's his best album.

I think it gets the proper credit that it deserves.

TDTB doesn’t get talked about enough. No ID built an amazing, cohesive soundscape for Common to vent on. This is probably No ID at the peak of his powers tbh. If you can withstand Ghetto Dreams (which I’ve come to realize is annoying) and the Drake diss Sweet, this is really an incredible listen.

As for LIG I don’t think it’s too underrated but man I don’t think we talk enough about just how strong this album is. Nearly 20 tracks of Nas returning to form over Salaam Remi and No ID production. Each song has its own character/vibe. And Nas was definitely back on his bullshit for this album.
