I have heard of people (some I know) who have received EDD b/c they are unemployed, but they haven't worked in the past 18 months to be eligible.

Is this allowed or a gray area?

People are saying the virus prevented them from getting a job they were supposed to get.

I am a bit confused here and need some clarification.

Apply online for the PUA (Pandemic Unemployment Assistance) , not traditional unemployment
