The reason he isn't signed to GOOD Music was explained on the NoJumper interview. From the interview it seemed like it's more of a Def Jam issue, seeing as he was signed to Def Jam already and they didn't want to also have him signed to Good

Akon's cousin Boo had him in a deal with Def Jam, Kanye tried to get him out and with GOOD but Boo blocked it

Which is super interesting because Bu is Kanye's music manager now (well closest thing to a manager, at least)
