Feel like it’s a lot of (specially fashion companies) prerogative when making clothes with IPs attached to minimize the recognizability of said IP so as to avoid making shirts/sweatshirts/hoodies for “nerds”.

So they end up with these often minimalist designs that just come off as incredibly bland.

That doesn't make any sense to me because there's no men's component of it. It seems like something for the girlies, & I'm gonna buy it but it really seems like something else.

If it's true they're phasing out Lemaitre, U is still a brand that's built itself on its own. I would think they let a successor to him do it to keep in that style profile

I wouldn't put it past them to cancel the U line without any announcement
