What about the actual event? Will they/others attend the award show? Not gonna lie it will feel a bit distasteful to see artists arrive in +100K outfits that they won't ever wear again besides this one night

They should cancel the event or just run it as an online event where they just name the winners and keep it at that but as you said, they don't really care and are too self-obsessed to understand what is happening around the world. But watch them go on stage and pretend to be sad and fake their empathy

Postpone the Grammys and VOTE FOR THE KTT2 MUSIC AWARDS while you’re at it

But for real, there’s no way they’re gonna have these 8-9-10 figure industry pieces coming out and flouting their gilded statues while thousands of people have lost their homes with absolutely no recourse
