True detective first season ain't all that heat
Finale was underwhelming

I agree.

I guess this dialogue was supposed to bring sorrow but it felt melodramatic to me.
I agree.

not just that scene, I just felt like the story was leading up to a larger conspiracy but instead the mystery lead us to a hillbilly psycho.
transporter 2 is a great film
"What seems to be the problem"
"Oh my problem isn't medical.... it's psychological"

Tv series was entertaining too, pity they cancelled it.
Since I've seen light house and just finished the witch I think I can review Robert Eggers now. His films don't really have characters I connect with or feel for in the slightest and that's always a minus for me especially when the story isn't strong enough. I also get the feeling even he doesn't understand his endings. Atmosphere, score, dialogue cinematography, pacing are all an 8-10 but the story is like a 5 and the characters are like a 3/10
Not every character needs a redemption arc
Some folk were upset with William getting killed off in Westworld but he didn't really change THAT much. And even then again growth doesn't protect you from the plot necessarily
This isn't really a hot take imo, but Zendaya can't act.
She’s really not that attractive either I don’t get the hype

Writers should normalise flat character arcs. I know more people who haven't changed than those who have. Nate Fisher is a great example if you've seen SFU.

I agree I loved the show but this was fluffy

No he was just a small part of a much larger conspiracy and this was clear
No he was just a small part of a much larger conspiracy and this was clear
and I wish they explored that conspiracy more.
Need villains to feel like intimidating pieces of s*** again.
Reverse Flash in the Flash season 1 had some moments where you were like "damn he can be nice when he wants
but he still gotta go
The variety of accents used in Chernobyl were so jarring and really took away from the quality of the show's storytelling
