It’s kinda insane to me how badly Resurrections flopped. The first one still hits the mark perfectly to me with its ideas & the sequels are not nearly as bad as people aay imho, but that one was f***ing rough lmao.

And yet, I’m still surprised that it hasn’t really made any waves whatsoever after its first week of release.

While we talking about fake deep, I always seem to come back to True Detective season 1

The Wire boring as f*** everytime i try to watch it it’s a chore to get through

rust's speech in the car in episode 1 and the one at the church meeting are both quite shallow

Currently on Twin Peaks. I'm liking it but so far nothing suggests to me that this is Mad Men/Sopranos/The Wire tier. Seems like a mix of True Detective with Lost, even if I'm not a particular fan of the supernatural elements of it.

I admire the discipline of watching five whole seasons of television that you don’t like. I’m not even being sarcastic either like wow. I have to fight through watching shows I do like

Ace's death in one piece is one of the worst deaths i've ever seen. Ain't no way i was supposed to feel bad for that idiot dying even worse is he's basically replaced with sabo

The show is really well made, if someone asked me on a technical side it's automatically better than BB so I got no problem with watching it

Conflicting because I enjoy some slow burning scenes with setups but I don't see the stakes in the overall story

It just ends up non-interesting to me when the overarching story of a season conclude

I enjoyed Mad Men and even that is just suits & ties so idk why I'm not really clicking with this show, I'm still not done but 6 seasons in and not liking it is wild

Pirates as a sub genre dont do it for me.

I don't like the Judd Apatow era of humor and all those movies except Superbad (still I don't like the humor that much but it's alright)

I miss the days when shows had 20+ episode seasons filled with filler.
