People obsessing over wanting everything R rated and mature are cringe sometimes and come off as edgy. Like we get it you grew up on insert IP now you’re all grown up.

Gore, nudity, & swearing doesn’t always make a movie better or funnier. Some of the greatest movies oat are PG or PG-13. Might even respect those movies more to become classic status without catering to the edge lords

Yes but feel like it goes both ways tho example being Venom both films (besides being done better) should of been rated R

But how does making it R make those movies better? Because they can swear and have more blood in the movie it makes the story better?

Deadpool & Logan for example it gives them the range to say stuff about how they really feel in those moments. More so for Logan lol but it makes sense cause not everything can be a watered down PG-13 rating hence why we have ratings.

How can Venom eat people and not be any blood. I didn't even see the second one but saw the clip with the one f-bomb. People found it funny and talked about it from what I remember.

To an extent you are right it can be overdone and lame but a film in the right hands it doesn’t end up like that.

That is where it starts to depend cause I feel Venom could of benefited from an R rating personally. It comes down to the source material and story of the movie, charater(s), whatever it might be. Cause Carnage without spoiling s*** does some nasty stuff in some of those comics.

I feel like the abundance of the PG-13 ratings people get sick of it cause in reality they can only show/say so much. Especially with these comic book films the stakes (relatively speaking within the movie) are high. Like Thanos wiping away half the universe. There is a niche for it in the end. You’re not wrong I agree with you to an extent but also sometimes I just needs the R rating.

The Black Phone was a poor excuse of a horror film. Nothing but jump scares and a s***ty plot.

Scott Derrickson has not made a great film yet.

Whole show is good if you give it a pass for ABC trying to make it a 10+ season nightmare til the writers fought for an ending

I've never thought of puke or s*** to be funny and Triangle of Sadness is the one movie I'll never regret missing out on

Parks and Rec is better overall than the office because it ends when it should have
