I’ll take it further. MOS and BVS “feel” like bad movies to the average viewer in large part due to Cavill’s performances
This is the only thing I truly blame snyder for directing him so dry and unhuman
Blow Out > Blow Up
Body Double >>>> Rear Window
Obsession > Vertigo
I mean you're just a De Palma stan in that case
Henry Cavill as Clark Kent doesn't work and I blame it on the costume department. Dude looks like he's modelling for an eyewear brand

Why is this so accurate
hannibal tv show is better than hannibal movie franchise
Fargo Season 1 > Fargo Season 2 > Fargo Movie
No lol that is why I was confused . After reading your post I don't feel like rewatching .
I really rewatched it on some nostalgia s*** but there's so much wild s*** that aged like absolute milk
Anti LGBT episode with penny having telepathic abilities with a tiger
Anti strike episode where Penny proudly claims she's Republican.
And The entire family dynamic of the proud family is just sad.
some movies are only worth seeing in theaters
Unless you have a gigantic TV and absurd surround sound
Has there ever been a series where the movie version was good or even better than the show? I know it's not a fair comparison given the durations and budgets

lol I am on a laptop right now and just like "yeah I am not gonna watch that unless I am at a good set up"
saying a movie is a classic a million times doesn't make it a better movie
They can't say "it's one of my favorites"

Not watching blockbusters on a laptop is not an unpopular opinion
People are afraid to like what they like. Letterboxd, Rotten Tomatoes and online movie discussions have set us back

Nah the best conversations are when you have an outstandingly weird opinion you have to defend

Cloud Atlas in IMAX opening weekend
Cloud Atlas at home on computer or even at parents house
Endless Waltz but that is anime lol
ahh I'm ready to have this dialogue. Though I love Treize and understand his basically forfeit to humanity and war, it couldn't carry the whole show. Not saying it's bad but you know what it is. Heero saying "I'll kill you" and attempted suicides got dry quick.
I did like Heero and Wufei's back and forth about "the endless waltz"
"How many times must I kill that girl and her dog?.. Zero won't tell me anything" which has so many layers
Not watching blockbusters on a laptop is not an unpopular opinion
not even blockbusters a lot of what people consider classics are only really made for like a home theater set up which reasonably I can watch at parents but they gonna walk in like "what you watching " lol. I don't have the money to have a set up for a lot of these "OMG THIS A CLASSIC WATCH NOW " movies lol
