On my timeline atm there is uproar about Keke Palmer greenlighting a show which centers an Asian-American girl adopted by a black family going to an HBCU. They saying it’s cultural appropriation. I think they’re are some legitimate gripes with the plot of the show, but at the same time I don’t view it as a threat to my black identity. These people are rabid at the mouth about this s*** i had to pull out cause it’s started to devolve into typical diaspora wars.

No longer taking anyone who says all Netflix shows are trash serious anymore. Their business model is pretty s***ty, they throw a lot of s*** at the wall to see what sticks, and even if it does stick it might be canceled. Even with all that, there are a bevy of quality shows on the platform. I’ve seen the s*** yall champion on this forum, and it ain’t any better.
