The departed Scorsese is better than the Hong Kong or wherever it's made version .
Rush hour trilogy >>> Lord of the rings trilogy
Captain Planet : winter soldier is the best Marvel movie , better than endgame.
Wonder Woman was a Lil boring tbh.
Adam Sandler is not a bad filmmaker. You don't mess with the Zohan is good.
The Dictator is the most underrated film of all time.
Every non-divisive Star Wars film is mainly liked because Harrison Ford has a main role in it
What does every divisive sw film have in common? A lack of a charismatic main character that acts like a normal person.
The world of sw is boring and weighty without a character like that

The Han Solo charm is hard to mess up. It carried the Indiana Jones trilogy (there are only three movies in this series)
With a few exceptions I hate movies that have large scale "save the world" type plots, especially if they take place within our own world and especially especially if they take place in real places in modern time within our own world.

nah they're really like sequential books. You'd be missing out on the whole beginning of the story, characterization-story and all. You gotta follow their journey from the start.
but trust it gets better

Why
I acknowledge that he's a talented filmmaker but his films just bore me. They largely contain a lot of what I don't really like.
