RASIEThis sounds flimsy to me cause everyone i know who has reappraised them recently are people who had no emotional investment in Star Wars just a few years ago, some of them even used clowned the whole series
I guess that many people now have realized that they still felt like a personal work by a director with many singular touches while Disney gave the new trilogy to the blandest director they could find. JJ Abrams. Last Jedi falls a bit out of place there but still.
However, the prequels are still not good films imo.

Yeah im not a fan either, and I can't really bring myself to care about any of the films in general cause im really just not a fan of star wars haha.
Maybe one day i'll actually sit down to seriously watch them all again, but right now? Nah.
But i do really like Ep III.
And i also really enjoy reading some of the more serious/longer writing about the prequels in particular, because some of the ideas are interesting
