The show very much presents itself as a plot show then you realize basically nothing happens in the first 3 seasons just individual episodes showing jimmys mischiefs

this is masterful. captures the comic book panel vibe perfectly

first four seasons are peak television (along with hardhome and the last two episodes of season 6). it's unfortunate how bad they dropped the ball

Jesse was more relatable and had more humanity than Walt.

Friends had a good run from S3 to S5 but after that the characters become parodies of themselves.
Ross is manipulative and misogynistic as f*** when it comes to Rachel and they shouldn't have ended up together.

Euphoria's nice but overrated as f*** by these kids
Nate, his Dad, Rue and Mac Miller look alike the only interesting characters.
Cassie is the worst character
Jules a POS for leaving Rue like that at the end and she's a coward for leaving town.

Netflix's YOU is cool to watch because it's so ridicolously bad it does a 180 and it becomes addictive but S2 wouldn't be so loved without the LSD episode and the final twist.
Season 3 should be the last season

The tv series Lucifer had potential to be cool and interesting if they went into the religious history route and the myth of the relationship between God and Lucifer but the creators simply used the idea of The Devil leaving hell to make a mediocre series about a white female cop in love with the devil

You'll benefit a lot more from it if you already seen breaking bad. Not saying that you have to, and you only see a few characters from breaking bad, but somehow it elevates the enjoyment soo much. Idk how else to explain it.

I tried Lucifer. God I was so bored. Another police procedural with the only catch being "Hey, the devil is also investigating"
I thought it was gonna be a lot more mythology

I watched it because it's rare that I don't finish a series I started.
Trust me, for every interesting episode that has mythology in it there are TEN more episodes about a murder and s*** is so basic and formulaic.
This series wouldn't have been given a green light without the main character being the devil because the police part of it is so weak and uninteresting.
The relationship between Lucifer and Chloe isn't even natural, it's set up from episode one to be a will they/won't they and there's no spark between the actors.

The idea of the devil leaving hell and coming to earth is cool but they butchered everything else.

I've hate-watched season 4 tbh.
I don't care for romance in general.
Example:I grew up watching Scrubs and I never cared about JD and Elliot

I watched the trailer of season 5 and now there's Lucifer's brother who looks like him and take over his life while Lucifer is in hell because if he ain't there demons will come to earth to kill the kid his other brother had with an human.
It's a soap opera basically

The series is good overall don't get me f***ed up

They have a soap opera audience anyway, it was only a matter of time

First three seasons of Misfits is GOAT Teen comedy-drama.
Gilgun tried to carry the show on his back after Iwan Rheon left but the writing deteriorated to a point of no return.

I feel like it has a good movie at it's core but you can feel the studio notes on throwing in set pieces and s***

I find Angel more interesting and with more layers when he's on his tv series than when he's Buffy's lapdog in love.
Joss Whedon ruined Spike's character turning him in so many different things because people would've hated to see him die.
Spike should've not returned in S4 to be a comedy relief but should've been a Big Bad to kill in season 6.
Angel vs Spike in Destiny is one of my favorites fight in tv history because of how deep their love/hate relationship has been built up tho
