Actually, utopia is highly regarded as one of the worst albums in their discogs. Its even worse than volta in alot of online communities. Alot of people blame Arca but i dont agree, i think it was just the concept.
bloated but still a great album. the mainstream aint ready for the flute and bird noises yet

this opinion isn’t that unpopular among people who started listening to rap before Trump became president
Bad take
Cus that’s exactly who love trab lmfao
Album gets better with every listen and I cannot say that for many other mainstream rap albums this year.
anyway, this was actually my most positive first listen of an album of his it’s a good album to me, still I just struggle to comeback to his music & even this album idk
the rapper that's known for always doing something new going back to an album he dropped years ago wouldnt be a good look lol
It would be a return to form at least lol

@op When are we getting Cordovia
that last sentence is literally Astroworld lmfaooo he just been smoking weed a lot recently
Astro was not psychedelic at all to me and was his most commercial sounding far reaching album. Utopia far more experimental (doesn't make it better or worse)

The whole album is a trip, kinda like a roller coaster, with how fast and slow then back to fast it goes out of nowhere. More specifically, it’s a candyflip (Molly/Ecstasy, prolly blue pill and Acid). Even the opening song he literally says psychedelics got me goin crazy lmfao

Utopia way more psyched out and varied in sound astroworld has the same drums throughout the entire album minus skeletons and coffee bean

sounds like someone didn’t listen to the album

All I’m saying is the entire theme and experience of Astroworld is a psychedelic trip from the music to how Travis promoted the album
