I dont think its complete garbage but almost all of the new additions to the story were dumb. They turned Sephiroth into a total doofus. The Dunkey review was 100% spot on.

I loved the game but they definitely should just stuck having this be a 1:1 remake. We probably wouldn’t have a trilogy if that were the case as well

New stuff > a 1:1 remake tbh. The OG is a classic, and I love it like a lot of people do, but I can’t imagine the game would hit the same as it does if it was like that

i played HL2 for the first time in like 2012 and hated it

got to the level with the boat in the sewers and i kept getting omega lost and dying

also this holy s*** they made the story melodramatic af and cringe

and the gameplay isnt v good

grafix were nice asl tho
