eh i agree on the details like hair and clothing/environment clipping, but there's def a drastic difference from games now and at the start of the ps4/xbone cycle
games were struggling to hit 900p and 30 fps lol
Ya I played 80% on the pc, games look the same on that today as they did 15 years ago

well that makes more sense lol
most of the graphical improvements are on console

Yes I have no doubt!
Not my hot take, but apparently, if you 25 and up and you still play video games, then you a manchild and your real life must be horrible
Again, not my hot take

My dad played Rogue Squadron more than anybody on earth and had 3 kids, a house and like 14 grandchildren
The N64 version, GameCube was too flashy for him lol

I’m glad the gaming has the space now to be a genuine and cool hobby rather than a “kids thing”
People who still have that mindset are unhappy with themselves
Anyone else think ToTK is kinda overrated..
Not really tbh, but BOTW was definitely very overhyped
GOW2018 deserved goty over RDR2
nah maybe if GoW didn't have that trash ass Atreus turning evil plotline
Also, Zelda was better when the games were not open world
They just need to find a balance. TOTK was alot closer to it.
They’re not gonna like this one but The Witcher 3 has always been pretty overrated and is already aging poorly. Definitely isn’t a bad game but people were acting like it was the be all end all of RPG’s for years.
I really want to play this, the only hate I see for this game is this site lol
It’s just an Ubisoft open world game. And I’d prob prefer an Ubi game even

Real. RDR2 had awful gameplay. Only thing I can say about GoW is a lack of enemy variety, which is really minor
Also, Zelda was better when the games were not open world
I don't think that's fair to say when they really just started doing the open world stuff especially with the switch being as weak as it is. If the next one doesn't innovate much with a more powerful console then this take will be fair.

Rockstar gameplay is really hit or miss with so many people, I personally like the weighty clunky feel of it but I totally get people who don’t. Even if I did hate it though the story overpowers any shortcomings in the game to me by a mile. Actual generational storytelling IMO.

Game would be perfect if movement felt more like RDR1. I don't like the animation playing out everytime you loot, everytime you skin an animal, Arthur putting his guns back on his horse everytime. Realism was their goal but convenience for the player should've been prioritized over realism
God of War had a brilliant story and the gameplay was amazing. Feels like a Halo 3 type game, as close to perfect as a game can get. RDR2 could've been there too, but the gameplay is a pretty big flaw imo

Yeah sometimes I definitely think they made it to realistic for their own good, it would’ve been nice to have an option in the setting to change it if you wanted to. Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson with GTA VI.
GTA IV for me was extremely boring. I bought all the expansions n dlc too. I still need to complete like 2 more missions in ballad of gay Tony to finish it up.
I wasn’t invested in Niko’s story at all. The controls for the game felt so bad to me too. It’s my least favorite GTA game to drive around in
GTA V completely overshadowed GTA IV for me, I just prefer it in every way and the irony is that I’m from NY lol I just find GTA 4 drab and dreary overall, the city, the graphics, even Niko
Liberty City with the density of GTA 6 would be really enticing though
