I think Christy is still the main focus here, Americana premiered 2.5 years ago and fell into horrible luck with its distributor which postponed the film to the point no one cared. And Sydney isn't even the star of Eden.

She was on a good roll after getting production clout from the film she did with Glenn Powell. Immaculate did pretty well for instance

Its just now she made an odd choice for her next production and let the attention of her own interviews focus on the wrong thing, burning any good will that was left for her.

If she plays her cards right she still has a solid out. Will def need to take the L and switch up her energy next time we see her

Devil Wears Prada 2 will help especially since she's not the star, Euphoria S3 could help and then she's still got Barberalla stashed, which is the type of role her fans would want to see and with Edgar Wright

Saw the movie last night, I enjoyed it even if it was pretty typical biopic middle of the road for the most part. Sweeney does give a good performance and Ben Foster definitely knocks it out the park with his reprehensible character. Not surprised it's not been lighting up the box office, but honestly, the time for sports biopics making a dent commercially has pretty much come and gone these days if we're really keeping it buck (and it doesn't help there was little marketing behind this one either). BO woes and other factors withstanding, I feel the movie's worth watching at least once at a matinee or whenever it hits streaming. 6/10
