that f***ing scene bro holy s***

that movie had its huge detractors who just completely hate that movie. even before it won best pic. i can't really see this film ever having people who completely think its a hacky empty slop movie the same way some people do everything everywhere

this was really strong in its characterization and world building, looked beautiful and the performances are strong across the board

only thing i felt some of the stuff surrounding the main battle felt underwritten and not matching the strong elements of the foundation

See for me I see two films where I absolutely loved majority of it but felt a little meh about the 3rd act for both

But I don’t think it’s enough to diminish the praise it’s getting

I did just watch Coogler's short films he made when he was at USC, Locks and Fig. both pretty solid actually
