Saw it on imax and I was anxious and stressed throughout !!

Makes complete business sense. IMAX screens that week were booked by Final Destination which is also distributed by WB. They surely saw the presales and realized they’d make more money with sold out 70mm Sinners showings. Probably had to negotiate a fee with New Line Cinema, the producers, and maybe the director, but they probably made more money off WB than those nine screens would’ve made

My homie who is sort of socially traditional/conservative did complain about Christianity being painted in a bad light compared to hoodoo. I basically got a glimpse of what the Christian backlash was about online.

My thought was that all belief systems were criticized to support people's right to choose themselves or what they love at the end of the day.

IMAX really brought it back. Cinema is alive y’all!
