half the songs feel paint-by-numbers and just don't stay interesting to listen to. like there's some interesting ideas but the album loses direction fast and devolves into easy listening/kendrick rapping on autopilot. nothing catches my attention until "i remember you was conflicted" which just reminds me to hit skip
