wtf?????? i just waited until the timer completely counted down (watched it go from "about 20 minutes" to "about 10 minutes" to "about 10 seconds") and it completely reset????????????????? it says "please wait until later to post another thread" again smhhhhhhhhhh

Title: is there a new 1-Thread-Per-24-Hours Limit? & if so, why?

i couldn't post a thread all day, and the timer is only just now letting me post one, coincidentally(?) about 24 hours after my last thread

i asked about this in the "What's coming to KTT2" thread stickied here since i couldn't make a new thread, and @LD replied saying he's had the same problem all day too (update: even @Vietbrah said he noticed it)

at first we thought maybe it's a weekly thing, but since the timer is allowing me to post a new thread about 24 hours after my last thread was made, it's probably a one-thread-daily type situation

either way, it isn't good for the site to restrict the same poster from making multiple threads in a day. many people come on this site specifically to keep up with what's new in the genre. LD & i are constantly among the first posters to post very relevant news on the site such as rappers announcing info on upcoming releases, which can happen more than once daily. and that's not even the only relevant info to be talking about on this stie, just one example. i understood the previous thread-making limit where one had to wait a few minutes between posting threads, which is clearly to avoid spamming, but preventing people from making multiple threads within 24-hour spans is completely ridiculous (if this isn't just a glitch)

this'll probably the only thread i'm allowed to make for the day if there really is a 24-hour time limit between making threads now too smh

now i gotta stay up later than i planned tonight bc i still have "about 10 minutes" before i can post this thread even though it said "about 20 minutes" a half hour ago :(

there's gotta be a way to limit threads, especially in the music section. too many spam and useless threads just for the sake of making threads of whats on their mind...like nobody cares. it should only be useful threads that is either a new song release or discussion threads that are actually engaging. too many s*** posting spam threads. these idiots really abusing the site

What's the width/height for covers supposed to be?

idk whats up with the artist pages within the music section. other than drake and kanye who have their own pages visible on the main page, there's all these artist pages that you can't even really get to. and when you post in there it doesn't show up in the Music forum, its like hidden in the abyss.

I like the idea of being able to tag an artist and then sort by their name so you see all their threads, but it should still show up in the music forum or it should be easier to get to those sub forums.

like for instance the eminem thread should be poppin the last few months but its hidden in an eminem forum that nobody can reach

when do you reckon AM integration will come to KTT2.

i'm still fixing up the spotify stuff since it's kinda buggy. then it will be last.fm (since it should be easy), and then AM...because apple makes it difficult lol

hey, yeah you're right. it's pretty confusing. especially right now since a lot of stuff is changing.

at the moment you can follow any artist sxn and they'll show on your home page — but this only works well for a few artists so we're phasing out most artist sxns and replacing them with something better. this is why a lot of them are pretty much hidden now

i think i went into more detail about this in another post, but with the new system you'll be able to follow any artist, and all music threads will be auto-tagged with the relevant artists

it'll make a lot more sense as all the different pieces come together

hey, can you lower the time limit between making threads? for people who break news on the site constantly without spamming, it’s a real setback that you can’t post more than one thread every few hours, especially when so many major hip hop artists are releasing projects soon

ik we talked about the related glitch that was happening a few days ago, and i don't wanna come off as pushy about this, but it does make a difference
