@S can you issue the mods give legitimate reasons to when & why a thread gets locked

How about if or when a user gets muted or banned ? Or can I make a thread regarding who’s no longer present on the site ?

No thread was locked I just wanted to ask if that was possible ? Sometimes threads get locked with little to no information as to why they were locked

I also wanted to know if it was possible for me to make a thread of users that be been permanently banned with explanations as to why they aren’t allowed back on the site

mods should leave reasons and will soon be required to before they're able to lock a thread. but if you ask in Help sxn (with a thread) you'll get an answer pretty quickly

if a user was banned they can appeal the ban. it'll be a formalized process soon

oh, if that’s what you meant then no, sorry. i thought you meant making a thread to ask why someone was banned.

a lot of people already receive disproportionately positive treatment and that’s overall damaging to the community. this would only make that problem worse, or even appear to celebrate them.

a ban is generally their issue and they can appeal it directly.

but ultimately i’m working to encourage positive and productive discussion and discourage toxic negativity. not promote it
