Oh I see. Interesting idea, very intuitive. On mobile it appears that it's still showing likes and its counter, but I understand that you guys are still testing it. I appreciate the experimentation.

That being said, I don't think it'll end up necessarily being that big of a difference from the original system. I doubt implementing a visual delay—being the "hidden like count" feature slightly delaying the user's ability to see the counter—will make any meaningful distinction on our collective communicative experience.

I am definitely not married to this idea though (and always the possibility that I'm very wrong ), just what I'm thinking at the moment.
