just was a really bad clog i guess that took hours to fix. tried plunging then tried a bunch of other tricks (dish soap, baking soda, etc. even bought a new plunger and a drain snake to try to fix it) before finally finding a video that showed that specific way of plunging that finally got it fixed.
What’s the specific way to Plunge?

If your toilet and sink are connected in the same plumbing system, and they usually are, I have some ancient wisdom that's saved me a few times
Fill your bathroom sink up to the brim with hot water, keep the plug in, then YANK that plug out, and quickly after, flush the toilet
Some sort of vacuum is created or something and it sucks it down, no idea how to explain it but it definitely works
you right got a one hr break
